This year, NZNO nurses, midwives, health care assistants and kaimahi hauora are working together to negotiate a new collective employment agreement (DHB/NZNO MECA) that will affect all of us.

This MECA is our chance to celebrate the hard work that healthcare workers put in, day after day, and it is the government’s opportunity to show their appreciation for the brave people that have fought so hard against COVID-19.

For these negotiations, we’re committed to transparency and democracy. By working together, we'll make sure that NZNO members’ voices and ideas are at the heart of what we do.
